After I uploaded my résumé to 104, HR contacted me proactively. The position was Sales PM for industrial computers.

Since I am still employed, I specifically took time off to attend the interview, and it took several rounds of coordination to settle on a time that worked for both sides.

It started with a 30-minute logic test, after which the manager interviewed me.

I was asked to describe the main responsibilities of my current job and the project I was most proud of.

After I finished, they told me that my current role was a Project PM focused on processes, whereas they were looking for a Product PM focused on products.

My face fell immediately. My current job responsibilities were clearly stated on my résumé, including which projects I had worked on. If you felt I wasn’t the person you were looking for, why arrange an interview with me? Did you not look at my résumé at all before scheduling the interview?

Wasting an entire morning was incredibly frustrating!
