Practice Japanese speaking skills
Be exposed to many unique outfits and learn about makeup, hairstyling, photography, and related processes
The work is not difficult, and you can quickly get the hang of it once you memorize the procedures
During the interview, the boss felt that my Japanese was not good enough, so I initially worked part-time without labor and health insurance and was paid daily. There was no lunch break; I had to return to work immediately after eating. The senior staff spoke very harshly and sarcastically. If you made one mistake, they could talk about it for the entire day. On only my second day, I was scolded: “It’s already your second day—how have you still not memorized it?” They talked badly about you without lowering their voices at all. Even the part-time stylists looked down on people in the same way, and another colleague who joined at the same time was also very afraid of the senior staff. Because of these seniors, I was under so much pressure that I felt like gagging and crying at work. I initially thought I just wasn’t good enough, but after persevering for a month, I finally couldn’t take it anymore and resigned……
I actually learned a lot here, but the senior staff’s attitude toward newcomers was truly unacceptable.
