There is no such thing as an SOP. The company uses an apprenticeship-style training system: when you first join, you go from knowing absolutely nothing to having a basic understanding, and then from a basic understanding to an expert level. This requires guidance from senior colleagues as well as self-directed learning. I work in store services, with a starting salary in the low 30,000s. There is a bonus when performance targets are met. Starting this July, under the one fixed day off and one flexible rest day system, there are eight days off per month, with morning and evening shifts. The work is basically not too tiring; I only need to introduce products to customers and handle after-sales service. From time to time, the company provides free lunches, snacks, and drinks. Each quarter, manufacturers provide new products to try out. I live in the company dormitory, for which I pay a nominal fee of NT$2,000 per month. Overall, I really like my current job.
The organization is flat, and there is no well-established promotion system, but it also has the warmth of a family business. The boss treats employees like his own children, but the experience and perspective you gain may be somewhat limited.
