There is no overtime pay. Occasionally, on weekends, we have to attend company worship ceremonies or the funeral of a friend of a company executive—of course, there is no overtime pay for these either. We also have to receive visiting guests, providing interpretation throughout, from picking them up in the morning until dinner ends and taking them back to the hotel, often almost until midnight. None of this comes with overtime pay~ because these are all considered learning opportunities for us.
