Happy my ass.
From beginning to end, the goal was to slash it until you were left with nothing.
How is anyone supposed to be happy when being made to feel humiliated and furious?
The following is an account from a job seeker:
A company involved in green buildings (said to be a rainwater collection system company).
Basically, the work involved installing water pipes at construction sites.
Metal welding was also required.
During the interview, the initial salary offer appeared to be reasonable,
but it still had to be submitted for approval and remained undecided (understandable), so I went home to await notification.
That same day, I was notified to attend a second interview at 08:00 the following day.
If everything went well, I could start work immediately that day.
What was outrageous was that the salary was drastically cut during the second interview.
It was cut to an amount that could not support a family,
even to the point of being an outright insulting wage.
It was truly infuriating and heartbreaking.
I am sharing this experience here for all hardworking job seekers.
Let’s all keep going!
