The environment is pretty good.
The base salary for a nail assistant is NT$10,000, while the base salary for a nail technician is NT$21,000, but I don't know how long it would take to reach the nail technician salary.
The commission is approximately 10–50%, and you have to enroll in labor and health insurance yourself.
The customer base doesn't seem very stable.
The person who came to the interview was actually someone the owner had separately brought in... I was a bit dumbfounded.
(The owner is also a nail technician, but actually doesn't know certain techniques.)
At first, they said it was fine that I had no experience and that they would train me from the beginning, but later they said that because I had no experience, they were looking for someone experienced, so I wasn't hired.
(Then why not just say so from the beginning? They even had me come in for another interview, wasting my time.)
I overheard criticism of other people. If you're not particularly bothered by that, then it's actually no big deal.
