千山淨水股份有限公司
Pros

Flattery and bootlicking determine the level of your position.

The R&D environment is relaxed, with music playing loudly on the radio—an easy place to coast.

Cons

A family business with a second-generation owner who does not value talent.

The young, inexperienced second-generation owner gradually comes to enjoy hearing flattering praise, treating mediocre employees as talented ones.

R&D is treated like God: there are many product problems, but limited ability to solve them, while the boss backs R&D unconditionally.

Many materials used by R&D lack specifications and verification/inspection data. When something goes wrong, they shamelessly shift the blame to the manufacturing and quality-assurance units.

Some water-filtration certification results fail to meet the standards claimed in sales pitches.

Moldy/expired/recycled products—completely unscrupulous and without limits.

Employees are used and discarded; the attitude is that, since there is money, replacements can always be found.

No bonuses for the three major holidays, no company trips, and no year-end banquet. The boss pretends not to know, while year-end bonuses depend on the boss’s mood.

Sometimes there is a year-end banquet, with slow-moving inventory given away as raffle prizes.

Manufacturing-unit employees are mostly brushed off with only a few thousand dollars as a year-end bonus.

New employees receive no year-end bonus during their first six months to a year.

There is no intention of cultivating talent; if there is money, someone else can be found to do the work.

From time to time, money is deducted from installation technicians and other staff under various pretexts.

They are very skilled at using sales tactics to deceive consumers into replacing their machines with more expensive ones.
