Leaving work on time
The boss is extremely emotional, and there is a lot of physical contact that makes people uncomfortable (even between men—it's not like every guy likes that, right?!). Whenever a project fails, he will shift 200% of the blame onto subordinates. In addition, from time to time he comes up with some wild ideas for engineers to implement, only for the work to end up being pointless. Based on my personal work experience, the scariest thing is that after you leave, when your next employer conducts a reference check, this boss will absolutely say bad things about you (because this department has an extremely high turnover rate and he doesn't want anyone to leave, so he will be petty and retaliate...).
Every word above is true, based on my own experience working there for a year and the shared experiences of my department colleagues.
