New office
Interviewed for a sales position in a certain region. The hiring manager stated that the starting salary for someone with a master's degree in business from a national university is only 30K, with no performance bonus. Many questions were highly focused on private information, and some even contained offensive wording. The manager said it is difficult to find salespeople with relevant backgrounds in the optics field, and training costs are high, so they cannot offer a high salary. Salary adjustments are made every June or July. If performance is not too poor, a 1.5-month bonus is given.
