Please respect interviewees. The job description was completely different from what was actually discussed in the interview. You criticized both my work experience and my salary expectations, even though these were clearly stated on the job bank, including the minimum salary I would accept and my work experience. If you are looking for someone with that particular background, please state it clearly on the job bank. I would not have applied because I do read the postings, whereas your department seems not to review applicants’ résumés or expertise. The person you want is completely different from the position advertised on the job bank, and then you complain that the salary is too high. Everything could have been made clear on the job bank, so why waste each other’s time?
