Before joining this company, I had been unemployed at home for a long time, occasionally taking on small projects online. During the interview, my supervisor took the time to talk with me about many aspects of the job, which gave me a sense of being at home. I’m very grateful that my supervisor was willing to give me an opportunity. Although I started as a junior graphic designer and eventually became the design supervisor, it’s true that I started at a monthly salary of NT$22,000. However, in less than two years, perhaps because I was willing to work hard, I was promoted to operations supervisor, managing a team of 10. My monthly salary plus bonuses also jumped to NT$60,000–70,000. I never imagined that I could grow and gain so much in such a short time. When the company makes money, it never cuts our bonuses; when business is slow, it doesn’t treat us unfairly either. I think I’ll continue working with this company for a long time.

It’s just a little too relaxed. The boss gives us complete freedom to do things, so sometimes when we accidentally make a mistake, the boss has to come in and clean up after us. I really feel bad about that. Also, some colleagues don’t really know how to be grateful. I think those are the shortcomings I’ve noticed about the company.
