Pros

The engineers are united.

Cons

This is an SI company.

However, compared with the commonly understood type of SI company (一般 SI companies sell network products such as switches and firewalls),

this company sells its own products. As a result, what you learn here is different from what you would learn elsewhere (meaning that after learning it here, you will be 100% unable to use it if you leave!!).

The company does still take on some projects involving switches, firewalls, and the like (very, very few).

The company has systems in place (but promises are only for looking at, not for enjoying) and benefits (I think that even if they say something but fail to deliver, no one would dare say anything, haha).

As for the engineers at the company, you can only say that they are united—except for some colleagues (they push the blame onto others first, otherwise the BOSS will scold them).

The same applies to work handovers: since it is a handover, there should be both someone handing over and someone taking over (no one hands anything over, so you have to figure out how to take over yourself; if you do not take it over properly, they blame you for not asking. Even if you ask, they know nothing no matter how many questions you ask).

As for working hours, overtime is nothing unusual in SI companies. But here, overtime is mainly for showing the boss and supervisors, so it is a little special.

Simply put, this company only needs people, not brains, and does not need people who want to learn, because you can master its own products in one or two weeks.

Then you can leave. If you cannot do it, they can just find someone else anyway—the IT workforce is large ← that is the supervisor's mindset.

If you are an IT professional who hopes to learn things at an SI company, you would learn more by working on-site elsewhere than by working here.

A sincere recommendation. A sincere recommendation.
