A certain senior executive was very polite and open to discussing ideas. It is rare to encounter a manager who shows such respect for people; having such a pleasant conversation made for an enjoyable interview experience.
P.S. Managers like this are becoming increasingly rare in the industry—like endangered animals.
1. The company has money to build and renovate office buildings and construct very “large” factories, yet it does not pay performance bonuses to encourage employees. Overall, it is very stingy and operates on a “one-size-fits-all” approach.
2. The company deals with employees (if you ever become one of the unlucky ones) in “passive, delaying, and labor-law-evading” ways.
3. The survival rule is that the more you say, the more mistakes you make; it is better to say less and do less. Flattering the boss is also more important. The boss is outwardly gentle but inwardly tough and does not allow “outsiders” to criticize him.
4. You can coast toward retirement here, but the company has little prospects. There are too many incompetent people inside; some are not very capable and seem completely brainless.
5. Efficiency is extremely poor. I have never seen a company where everything is done this inefficiently (based on my past work experience).
6. If you only want to collect a monthly salary and make a basic living, you can come here—but do not be fooled by the high-rise buildings! They belong to the boss and have nothing to do with you.
