Large company, the building looks very new, and it’s very close to the MRT station.

I seriously suspect there was a communication problem between HR and the department manager. During the interview, the department manager was actually surprised and asked me, “Didn’t HR tell you that you needed to prepare a presentation on a certain product?”

The key point is that, toward the end of the interview, the department manager also asked me, “Could you go home and ‘make up’ a presentation, and then have HR schedule a second interview (an oral presentation) with you?”

So I went home and spent a lot of time preparing the presentation. After sending it, I even called HR directly and asked them to make sure to inform me of the follow-up. HR agreed as well. The ridiculous part is that more than a month passed, and when I called HR again to ask what was going on, HR actually told me they didn’t know = =

Okay then. A few days later, I finally received a wonderful thank-you letter.

Such a “thorough” recruitment process—is it meant to show off how great the company is? LOL
