行一建築國際事業有限公司
Pros

The work looks well-designed (after all, good design was one of the reasons I initially chose them).

Cons

My résumé already stated that my expected salary was 30,000–35,000 (which should be in line with the market for someone with two years of experience). When I was invited to the interview by phone, I also asked whether my conditions met the company's requirements. Since I live relatively far away, I didn't want to waste time and transportation costs going to an interview if they weren't acceptable.

But during the interview, they said the salary couldn't be that high (then what was the point of asking me to come in for an interview?).

The probationary salary is 25,000 for three months, after which it will be adjusted to 28,000 if my performance is okay.

They also said that all new employees at their company start this way.

The interview was around 8:00 p.m., and there were still three or four people in the company.

I asked Boss Peng whether they often had to work overtime.

He said yes, so you must be passionate about design, otherwise it would be very difficult.

Knowing that I live far away, he was even kind enough to let me leave at 9:00 p.m.

(How late do regular employees actually stay?)

I asked whether there was overtime pay.

He said everyone at the company did their best to refine the designs to the highest quality,

and that everyone was passionate about design.

So of course there was no overtime pay~^0^~

As an additional note, although the company's interior looks nice,

it is extremely hot and stuffy; it feels like they are very reluctant to turn on the air conditioning.
