The HR and interview manager was very friendly.
1. During the interview stage, they required proof of salary from my previous (or current) job.
2. During the interview stage, they required an income tax withholding statement.
Salary should be determined during the interview process by assessing how much value the candidate can bring to the company, followed by negotiating a mutually agreeable amount so everyone can work together happily. Insisting that interviewees provide salary proof is very unreasonable.
The income tax withholding statement is even more outrageous. Annual income combines various sources of income. I am only attending an interview, so why should I let you know my private information?
