Company regulations state that working overtime on a rest day requires working either four or eight hours. However, the Facilities Affairs Section at the Zhongli Plant also announced that work assignments on rest days must follow the regular working hours (07:50–11:50, 12:40–16:40). On rest days, employees cannot flexibly adjust their schedules to work four hours. The Labor Standards Act does not stipulate this, yet the Facilities Affairs Section at the Zhongli Plant has imposed this unreasonable requirement. The system for calculating working hours could simply be modified, but instead of changing the system, they only impose these unreasonable requirements!!!
