During the interview, when the supervisor saw the family information section, she asked about my parents’ occupations.

Because my parents are retired, she then asked how old they were. When I honestly told her, the supervisor said directly to my face, “They’re so old.”

At that moment, I felt extremely disrespected. If possible, I wish she had kept that comment to herself.

Furthermore, I believe that my parents’ ages have nothing to do with my ability to work.
