Strongly recommend that anyone aspiring to work in translation avoid this company!
1. 104 states that it has a two-day weekend, but in practice, employees are required to take turns working Saturdays every six weeks.
2. The rumors are true: the job requires signing a strict confidentiality agreement.
3. Overtime is mandatory and unpaid; you are not allowed to leave the company until you have met the daily quota.
4. With machine assistance, the daily quota is as high as 4,000 words (the supervisor expects 7,000–8,000).
5. There is no formal employee training. The supervisor will correct your translations but will not provide systematic feedback.
6. The salary is approximately 30K.
