The branch I work at is what they call a large store. The advantage is that shifts are divided into:

Early shift: 10:00–19:00

Late shift: 13:30–22:30

Days off are scheduled—eight days off per month.

When there is a national holiday, you are given what they call a compensatory day off for the national holiday.

There is also annual leave.

The year-end bonus is one month’s salary.

The salary is very low. The base salary is only 21,009 (before deductions for labor and health insurance).

There is a severe lack of staff. If there is a staffing shortage on a given day, you may have to work a full-day shift from 10:00 to 22:30 (with no overtime pay, only compensatory leave).

If you work on a national holiday, you only get compensatory leave, not double pay.

You definitely have to come to work on typhoon days.

Only if the wind and rain are too severe will they tell you to find your own way home.

There are so-called performance targets: Office, extended warranty, operating systems, mobile plans, and add-on purchase rates.

If you fail to meet the targets, your pay is deducted (according to each store manager; the rules differ from store to store).

As long as a customer complaint arises, it is your fault no matter what.

Senior management emphasizes that they do charity work and requires employees to take photos with customers while holding FEDS charity banners. Those who take too few photos will be criticized.
