The work environment has cats and dogs, the location is quiet in a residential area, and the colleagues are easy to get along with.
1. Employment is on a one-year contract, with a high likelihood of non-renewal.
2. The pay and benefits are not very good, turnover is high, and promotion is difficult.
3. The probationary period may be extended based on the boss’s subjective judgment; it averages more than three months.
4. The workload is relatively heavy, but overtime pay is promised more often than it is actually received.
5. The boss’s demands are very “high” and they are subjective and autocratic; revisions are the norm, and creativity gets revised to death.
6. Every detail must be approved by the boss. The supervisor, who works overtime every day, is only responsible for assigning work.
7. Cleaning and taking out the trash are required, including picking up dog poop, which smells very bad.
8. Men may be required to help trim tree branches and replace fluorescent tubes.
