The supervisor has little understanding of costs and benefits and is also easily brainwashed. Last year’s Indigenous folk song album project was decided on at 10,000 sets, with the price set directly, without first calculating the potential sales volume, pricing, and other factors. The result was, of course, poor sales: more were given away than sold, and, like some DVDs from previous years, they are now gathering dust in the warehouse. If that money had not been wasted this way, how much better it would have been to use it to help Indigenous children.
