Fresh graduates receive a standardized salary. Whether the experience is good or bad depends on the department and manager—the manager determines everything about your work. A good manager leads you forward, while with a bad manager, you have to deal with problems on your own. I happened to have a bad manager (strong technical skills, but only with Java; poor management skills; uneven distribution of work; low EQ; emotional; likes to micromanage and also loves to scold people). The project I participated in was also a government project, and the PM’s incompetence was limitless. When there was a system problem, instead of simply staying at the company and resolving it immediately, you had to commute in person to explain what had happened to those government officials.
