This is an advertising and marketing company with virtually no ability to apply information technology. Most of its application systems and website technology are largely outsourced to other companies or studios. It does not even have “any idea what product development means.” Moreover, project timelines are mostly determined by “marketing.” They love working overtime; it is not unusual for a bunch of marketing staff to spend two hours eating dinner before returning to the company to continue working overtime!!
They want to develop products but do not even have a direction or goal for “what the company’s product is.” They always try to use Wix to create a system like Wix, but the marketing department acts as if it knows best and tries to determine the direction—yet cannot develop “a damn thing.” There are simply too many opinions, and even the development concepts and website technology lack any direction whatsoever.
Because of this, there will be no one like that at this company. If you want to develop products, forget it!! You will be so overwhelmed by the websites you are expected to build that you will never finish. Do not listen to someone spouting nonsense about “the past”—none of those past experiences are useful for the current projects. Stop bragging about how things were before; even if you were once highly capable, “then develop a product.” They do not even know how to build an e-commerce site, yet they still want to talk about developing some kind of product.
Do not go to this kind of marketing company where most systems are outsourced. If you are thinking of going there as a technical employee, think twice!!
