A very terrible company. They frequently sue employees for no reason and pressure them into signing illegal contracts. There is no signing bonus, and if you leave before completing one year, you will be fined NT$100,000. Every month, records of overtime by each department are circulated, along with records of logging into the company email from home. Those who do not work overtime are scrutinized. At the time, I was even required to log into the company email at home and check for messages when I had nothing else to do. Before I left, the company’s vice president (the owner’s younger brother) and the owner’s wife were fighting intensely. The vice president even emailed all company employees, exposing that the owner’s wife insisted on suing an HR employee who had worked for less than three months, had not yet completed the training period, and had not signed a contract, even though that employee had not committed any work-related misconduct.
