It completely depends on the unit. A good unit has everything it should (good supervisors, a good system), while a bad one has a bad system, bad supervisors, and all kinds of nonsense, haha. However, you absolutely should not join for a short-term alternative service position. Things mentioned at the briefing can be completely denied afterward (each cohort has had all kinds of denials). There are also a bunch of old-timers inside who think that being able to get in without taking a written exam means you’ve got it easy—what a joke.

Also, if you want to ask whether a unit is good or not, as I mentioned in my previous post, it may be more accurate to ask someone currently in the group or on the project. Some things can only be known by internal personnel.
