The company initially promised a starting salary of 59K, but now it can actually claim that it has been changed to a variable salary of 48K–67K, which includes 59K, and therefore does not contradict what was originally said. Does that even make sense? It’s 48K today—how much will it change to tomorrow? And the day after??? Anyway, they can change the contract however they please.
