家信國際企業有限公司
Pros

The management mindset belongs to an outdated era—in other words, whatever the owner and supervisors say is considered correct, while everyone else’s suggestions fall on deaf ears. In addition, the company consists entirely of women, with no men. Employees are expected to wear makeup, skirts, and contact lenses, making it feel like working at a hostess club or a department-store counter. Although the company is actually in the brokerage industry rather than the service industry, it insists on calling itself a service business. Employees are forced to work on holidays solely because clients have events, such as year-end parties, spring banquets, and farewell ceremonies. If you refuse and say you have personal matters to attend to, the company will come up with a whole host of reasons to persuade you that you cannot be absent. It uses various methods to circumvent the Labor Standards Act—for example, claiming that the work is under a responsibility-based system and therefore not paying overtime, while also requiring you to work on holidays without clocking in. When salaries are adjusted, the additional amount is placed in the “overtime pay” field, making it part of the regular salary. Meetings, year-end parties, spring banquets, and birthday celebrations are held after working hours.

If you cannot participate in the company’s activities outside working hours, you will have no better career prospects at this company.

There is a clear internal hierarchy. New employees are expected to show great respect for long-serving employees. Supervisors are not allowed to carry things, take out the trash, or assist other people with their work. The senior-junior system is severe. Worst of all, the owner likes to have romantic relationships with internal employees. These relationships are kept secret but are known to everyone (which is partly why the hierarchical system exists).

As for the work itself, if the owner has a favorable impression of you, you will be assigned more important work when you first join the company and receive a higher salary. Being able to drive is a plus, and you will also be responsible for more fieldwork. Otherwise… you will handle the paperwork and administrative tasks related to bringing in other foreign workers, making it very difficult to move up. As a result, starting salaries can range from 23,000 to 32,000.

In short, this is a company where everything the owner says is treated as correct, and you must report everything to the owner and ask for instructions. It is a company that refuses to delegate authority while shifting all responsibility onto the supervisors.
