1.Regardless of how long you have worked there, paid annual leave is capped at 5 days.
2. NT$10 is deducted for being 1 minute late.
3. Office staff do not receive overtime pay.
4. When short-staffed, office staff may also be asked to help with the cash register and front-of-house duties.
5. Any excess cash at the register is counted as the company's; any shortfall must be fully paid by the employee.
6. Labor insurance, health insurance, and labor pension contributions are not reported based on actual wages, and some part-time workers are not insured at all.
7. Promised pay raises may still be withdrawn. Until they actually happen, take what the owner says with a grain of salt. They are very good at making grand promises, but you never get to enjoy them.
The owner often violates labor laws, yet frequently thinks she is being very generous. She also blames people who file complaints against her. In her view, every fault is someone else's. Anyone considering working there should think twice.
