Pros

I expected to be taken to a meeting room for the interview, but unexpectedly it took place directly at a high-stool bar next to a workspace where other employees were present. The table, chairs, and space were all completely unsuitable for opening a laptop and focusing on the interview.

The Operations Director asked very vague questions, such as: “What is UX to you?” and “If there are three concepts, A, B, and C, how would you choose one and prove that it is the right choice?” ...

While waiting for the interview, I accidentally overheard a conversation between the Operations Director and an employee (there was no way around it since they were right next to me). The employee asked something like, “So what do you want me to do now? What do you need me to handle now?” approximately three times. The Operations Director seemed to have serious problems expressing himself clearly. During the interview, I had to continually reorganize and restate what he had just said, then ask whether that was what he meant. English technical terms kept appearing throughout the conversation (as if he was afraid people would not know that he understood them), but when I brought up more advanced terminology and methods, he then seemed unable to understand and fell silent...

During the interview, he asked me how to solve a problem. I answered three times, but none of my answers satisfied him. He said, “None of your answers are correct. I know the answer to this problem, but I won’t tell you. You have to figure it out yourself for it to be meaningful.” ... Wow, I wonder if he saw my jaw drop, haha. Excuse me, are we in a class now, Professor? I had no idea that there were right and wrong answers in user experience xD

In short, if you want to join this company, you may need to be mentally prepared to communicate telepathically with the Operations Director. There is also a strong possibility that, when no interface design projects come in, you will spend most of your time supporting commercial design projects.
