I worked there before; basically, the job was fundraising. The chairperson would give you a bunch of brainwashing speeches. The student workers were essentially unpaid volunteers. I won’t go into the rest. They criticized other charitable organizations for donating spoiled rice or things people didn’t need, yet some time ago the news reported that they had donated expired shampoo to people in eastern Taiwan. They receive more than six million in donations a year—I don’t believe it was really that little. The reason I don’t recommend working there is that I worked there for about a week and raised quite a bit of money, but I felt something was strange about the organization, so I wanted to quit. They said they would pay me, but absolutely refused to do so, dragging it out and dragging it out, only saying they had to ask the chairperson and that they had already spoken with the chairperson! In the end, I never received the money. What an outrageous charity. When I first started, I submitted all the required information, and they said they would provide labor and health insurance, but I later found out they didn’t!!!! There was clearly something seriously wrong! Sure enough, they were featured in the Apple Daily last year!
