Full-time employees don’t have to make up workdays.

The Taoyuan plant is a complete mess, with a pile of pointless nonsense. Production-line working hours are calculated inconsistently, and the IE staff clearly don’t use their brains. I really want to tell them to come try moving things themselves—the machines are so heavy, and we’re exhausted from packing. On top of that, they keep cutting staff and reducing working hours. The only reason I’ve stayed is that my coworkers and supervisors are nice and pretty good at chatting; otherwise, no way would I want to stay in a place like this. Especially the team leaders and section managers—they only know how to shout louder than others. There are endless restrictions, and they even police our phones. They clearly sneak food themselves, yet they tell everyone else not to eat. The place is filthy and full of cockroaches. The bonuses and performance pay aren’t even based on overtime, and no one has any idea how the scores are calculated. Some people barely do anything but still get paid more. The whole place is incredibly shady.
