Pros

On the surface, everyone gets along well.

Cons

In reality, every one of them is scheming, selfish, and self-serving.

Someone who can put on a sour face is practically a miracle; everyone else is a smiling tiger.

They act cute and approachable on the surface but stab each other in the back.

There is no overtime pay (it depends on who the first-level manager is; on my team, I work 10.5 hours every day, with 5.5 hours made up through a flexible-hours arrangement on weekdays).

The more inexperienced you are, the more miserable you’ll be—not washing dishes, then stocking goods.

Food preparation? They’ll only send you over there when you have to take an exam.

The senior employees always stand at those same few positions. Every month, there is never-ending administrative work that requires extra time away from the customer-facing floor.

One piece of advice: if you’re serious about your career, go to a large company. Even hotels are better places to work than this.

Here’s a joke: five years of experience is enough to become a first-level manager.

So you have to endure five years first, waiting for the people above you to climb higher before you can climb higher too.

If you want to train your smiling-tiger skills, I sincerely recommend this job.
