Last week, I interviewed for the Sales Manager position at Jingcheng Technology. The company is located in the World Trade Center building. When I walked into the office, it felt quite impressive. The interior is an open-plan space, and overall it looked fairly bright and clean!.
First interview:
The interview process at Jingcheng Technology is divided into two stages. During the first visit, you have to pass a written test before proceeding to the first interview. My interviewer at Jingcheng was the Vice President of the Sales Department. In addition to asking about my personal background and work experience, he also asked about my experience leading a small team at my previous company.
At the end, we chatted for a while. He learned that I had moved to Taipei from another city for work and still had student loans to repay, so he gave me some advice. He also explained Jingcheng Technology’s current goals on the sales side, the capabilities required, and the types of business I would handle.
If the supervisor thinks you’re a good fit, they’ll schedule the second interview before you leave~~
Second interview:
Before the second interview, the sales supervisor sends you an assigned case study. You give a sales presentation on-site on the day of the interview, although this time I was interviewed by a more senior executive.
Afterward, they talked a bit about Jingcheng Technology’s vision and short-term goals..... It was basically a heads-up, meaning that once you join, you’ll need to adapt to the job quickly. Jingcheng Technology’s clients tend to be fairly large companies, such as FarEasTone, Fubon, and CTBC Bank. I felt the work would be fairly demanding rather than laid-back, but you can quickly build experience working with major clients, which would also be very helpful to include on your résumé in the future.
Compensation:
The senior executive said the guaranteed annual salary is equivalent to 14 months of pay. The standard bonuses for the three major holidays are also provided, and you don’t need to clock in or out when coming to or leaving work^^
Compared with my previous company, where clock-in policies were extremely inflexible and I was constantly questioned whenever I requested leave, and where there was no guaranteed annual salary or holiday bonuses, what Jingcheng Technology offers is quite good~
Summary:
Overall, I found Jingcheng Technology’s compensation fairly good, although the pace of work will probably be very fast! The Sales VP seemed quite strict to me, but when chatting privately, he seemed like a genuinely nice person. He took my financial pressure into consideration and offered some constructive advice. Overall, based on the interviews I’ve had so far, it ranks among my top two choices~
My overall interview experience with Jingcheng is as described above.
