Pros

1. You can learn how to give unconditionally to the company

2. It’s very easy to coast

3. You can wear slippers to work and treat the company like your own home

4. If you want to easily get an involuntary termination and severance pay, this company is truly your top choice. Although you can’t afford to buy anything, they are very generous with severance pay and involuntary termination.

Cons

The boss’s brain is incredibly impressive. Today, they say they want to do it in black; once the process and planning are settled and everything has been discussed with the vendors, the next day they immediately say they want to do it in white, then forcefully change everything to white and start over from scratch. Even more amazing is that after you spend three months redoing it, they say they want it in black again. Haha, didn’t see that coming, did you?

The deadlines set by the boss are also incredibly impressive. Today, they give you a week to do something, and the next day they’ll ask whether you’ve finished it. They think everything is easy and can be learned in one day, so the next day they expect you to know how to use something you previously didn’t know how to use.

The company has an extremely large number of useless people who only hold everyone back. But of course, the boss is also incredibly good at judging people and only appoints relatives and favorites. As long as you know how to flatter them and obey, that’s all that matters.

The boss has very creative ideas about financial planning, so naturally, it’s perfectly reasonable to ask vendors to help with work without paying them.

The boss also has many very special ideas, so don’t even think about communicating with them. The opinions of us ignorant commoners will never be adopted.

The boss cares deeply about employees’ sixth-sense training abilities and often requires them to use their psychic powers. Don’t expect the boss to clearly tell you what they want; you have to be self-reliant about that sort of thing.

Other than that, it’s honestly just really dirty and messy. The entire company is basically Mickey Mouse’s Clubhouse.

Oh, and although the benefits section says there’s an annual bonus (NT$2,000), you have to earn it yourself! If no year-end bonus is paid, it’s always the employees’ fault!

If you want to experience being fired in the shortest time possible, give it a try (Not my words—someone upstairs said it)

If you want to see what a company with an extremely high turnover rate is like, give it a try (Not my words—someone upstairs said it)

If you want to know how a boss can deliberately torment employees, give it a try (Not my words—someone upstairs said it)

If you want to learn about the company reputed to produce the most meaningless reports in the industry, give it a try (Not my words—someone upstairs said it)

If you want to explore what having a boss who talks the most nonsense is like, give it a try (Not my words—someone upstairs said it)

If you want to understand what it is like to start unpaid leave not long after joining, give it a try (Not my words—someone upstairs said it)

If you want to explore what it means for an outsider to lead experts while believing they are an expert themselves, give it a try (Not my words—someone upstairs said it)

If you want to find a stingy, exploitative boss praised by few and shunned by everyone, give it a try (Not my words—someone upstairs said it)

There are too many examples to list (you can also refer to the other posts above).

I might have to split this into nine episodes to write it all.

Oh, right! Don’t ask me whether the things mentioned above are true or not. You’ll be scared if you ask.

Cons

The advantages already have to be split into nine episodes to write. How many episodes do you want me to split the disadvantages into? What a hassle.

I heard (someone upstairs said it) that you’ve been trying every possible way to mess with the shareholders? I don’t know, but that doesn’t mean Chairman Chen and Chairman Shih don’t know. They’re on guard now too, so I suggest you behave. After all these years, there’s nothing that will remain unknown forever.

I heard you think this e-commerce venture will succeed? I don’t know, but that doesn’t mean you can take your product, change it from packaged to canned, put the same name and same product online, and expect it to sell (I heard you even raised the price). This concept is too bizarre—I really don’t understand it. I suggest changing the name, and don’t use certifications that shouldn’t appear, or the government will take all your money. Besides, the distributors aren’t idiots; even if the product doesn’t sell, they’ll find another way to charge you. And I think distributors won’t want to work with you like this. Think about it: if you were them, would you want to?

If a product can be sold at a higher price just by changing it a little (and you haven’t even changed much), then I’d say there isn’t a health supplement in Taiwan that couldn’t sell. Oh, right—apparently someone told you that setting up a company website to sell products can quickly take you from around zero, one, or two orders a day to several hundred orders a day? If that worked, every company would use this trick and make a fortune. Why would anyone work so hard? Do you think many people even know about your company’s website? After subtracting your friends, how many are left?

What? You say you have VIPs??? Forget it. Stop living in the past. And those pharmacy clients of yours???...

Sigh. I don’t want to talk about it anymore. Fend for yourself.

If you don’t know how to operate or handle things, let the professionals do it.

I heard you love calling people into meetings, but that doesn’t mean other people enjoy sitting through meetings full of your nonsense. I suggest you stop wasting everyone’s time. If you’re afraid employees aren’t doing anything, then don’t hire employees—do everything yourself. Huh? What did you say? You feel physically uncomfortable if you don’t hold a meeting? Then you should see a doctor, not summon employees. Isn’t that right?

If you don’t know the purpose of a meeting,

let the professionals handle it.

I heard nothing you’ve done these past few years has gone well—whatever you do, you lose money (someone upstairs said it)? At your age, having an opportunity like this can be called a blessing from your ancestors. Don’t read a few CEO articles and think you can become a CEO. At that rate, becoming a CEO would be less likely than winning the lottery, wouldn’t it? Although I don’t understand why you’re so obsessed with becoming a CEO.

I suggest that you step back behind the scenes and become the kind of CEO who doesn’t interfere with anything yet still lets the company make money. That would be the highest level.

What? You say you didn’t understand?

Sigh. Seriously,

let the professionals handle it.

Think about why you failed—what caused the failure and how to improve—instead of making the same mistake repeatedly without even knowing what you did wrong. If you’re not a professional, hire some professionals. But you keep hiring people who understand about as much as you do, people who only know how to agree with you and kiss up to you every day. What use are they? Especially those two. Though I heard they’ve both left. Congratulations—that’s a good start, at least. Don’t ask me which two. You’ll be scared if you ask.

Also, your accounts receivable, returns handling, event planning, marketing, product development and pricing, staffing, customer relations, policy-setting, and channel classification all need to be revised.

What? You say you understand all of it? Sigh. Don’t force yourself. Things have already reached this point.

If you really don’t understand, let the professionals handle it.

There are too many examples to list. I don’t want to split this into nine episodes anymore.

To put it bluntly, what the hell does it have to do with me!!!!!

Jinsheng Co., Ltd. is also Zhongkang Co., Ltd.—they have the same owner. After seeing the following history of misconduct, the second round of employee layoffs has started again. They say they are going to build a pharmacy platform called “Neighboring Health” to increase pharmacies’ exposure, but in the end, they only charge vendors joining the platform to get their products listed in pharmacies. Their claims about helping pharmacies attract customers are complete nonsense, because they have no money and no marketing team at all.

They spend all day pursuing unrealistic, far-fetched ideas. It would be a miracle if this platform could get off the ground. They also hired another vice president surnamed Liao, who has no business background at all and was casually brought in just because he knew the owner. His management skills are very poor, he has no leadership ability, and he simply does not know how to be a supervisor. He has a poor memory, and his attitude toward work is also careless and perfunctory.

The back-office staff are the same—every one of them acts like a civil servant: as long as they do not have to do extra work or it is not their responsibility, they say, “Don’t come to me.” Everyone is like a scattered pile of sand.

When this company delays payments, it gives you many excuses and then leaves you waiting two months for expense reimbursements. If the owner’s mother were not wealthy, this company would have gone bankrupt long ago. There are also claims that the owner’s girlfriend, who is an accountant, helps falsify the books to placate the shareholders. The company has even used blank credit-note forms and asked sales staff to stamp them, which is suspected falsification of accounts.

It would take more than 20 episodes to describe how terrible this company is. It is truly impossible to finish, but the main reason is that this Mr. Zhao spends every day chasing unrealistic ideas instead of working pragmatically, which causes the people below him to become just as bad.

Seeing that the finances are no longer viable, they are about to begin the second round of layoffs. I am honestly impressed that a company with such a terrible reputation in sales continues to make reckless decisions.

Cons

All the disadvantages have already been written under the advantages, because there are simply no advantages.

The boss has some very powerful special abilities.

Their ability to act smug, play dumb, and pretend nothing is happening is first-rate.

Those who need to can come to the company to observe.

Cons

Not suitable for people who are too outstanding,

unless you can treat yourself like a robot:

on as soon as work starts and off as soon as work ends.

Otherwise, you will be unable to adapt to this unreasonable boss.

If you insist on trying to take on the challenge,

please note the following:

The company has no right or wrong;

everything is your fault and the boss is always right.

The company has no systems or rules;

everything is decided by the boss.

The company has no individual rights;

everything revolves around the boss.

The company has no normal logic;

everything turns your expectations upside down.

The company has no teams or individuals;

everything is simply about how great the boss is.

In short, this company is a battlefield filled with landmines.

Even if you lie still and do nothing, the landmines will rush over, cling to you, and explode.

No matter which department you are in, the boss will blow you up until you are covered in injuries.

Pros

The boss’s mother is very wealthy.

While you were still getting ten dollars from your mom, he was getting two hundred thousand.

Unfortunately, most of it has been spent by now.

Cons

There are too many drawbacks; I don’t even know where to begin.

I can only say that everything written here is true.

There’s no most outrageous—only more outrageous.

The employee turnover is outrageously high.

There are an outrageous number of pointless meetings.

The boss’s bullshit is outrageously foul and long-winded.

Whatever you do, don’t come here to test your limits—you’ll regret it.

Even if you really refuse to believe the warnings and insist on coming to see the Demon King,

remember to take every possible precaution.

Because you’ll discover that

this company’s reputation is, well… haha, it’s hard to put into words.

In short, it’s not a good place to waste your life either.

Shijunsheng Co., Ltd.

Also Zhongkang Biomedical Co., Ltd.

Please see the other explanations below,

and decide whether you want to go to work there only after reading them.

May the Lord bless you.

Cons

Let’s talk about the company philosophy on 104 Job Bank.

104 listing • We don’t like to keep a close eye on people. We hope that, by giving you goals and direction, you can complete your work.

Truth • They really don’t keep an eye on you, because everything comes urgently and quickly. Where would they find the time to watch you?

104 listing • Communication is direct and transparent, with no unnecessarily layered bureaucratic organization.

Truth • It really is transparent: everything is decided by one person. There’s no need to go back and forth communicating.

104 listing • Your education and background are basically unimportant to us. We care about your ability to solve problems, as well as your willingness to learn and your passion for continually challenging the status quo.

Truth • Education really is unimportant here. The most important thing is being able to tolerate being challenged by unreasonable matters at any time. Otherwise, at the very least, you need to be very good at talking and placating someone.

104 listing • You won’t be constrained by existing ideas and assumptions; we’re willing to challenge conventions and propose suggestions for better ways of doing things.

Truth • You need to let go of your previous notions of what is normal. None of them apply here. Eccentricity is the way to go.

104 listing • We care about the ability to solve problems, while also placing great importance on corporate culture and teamwork. You need to have communication and coordination skills, because we believe in the team, not just the individual.

Truth • The team really is merely an article of faith, and there is only one Lord. Ultimately, you must believe in the Lord to attain eternal life; those who question the Lord are doomed to endless suffering.

104 listing • You will help Shijunsheng consider what is best for Shijunsheng, rather than thinking only of your own interests or those of the team.

Truth • Just like religious faith, only the Lord’s interests count as interests. You must set aside your personal interests and make selfless contributions in order to survive.

I can’t think of anything to write.

Cons

Zhao Guojun is still over there replying, “I accept, but I disagree.” It’s this kind of meaningless talk that keeps dragging the company downhill. Wasn’t the idea of stuffing inventory something you came up with yourself, Zhao Guojun? And then you present deceptive financial statements to the shareholders? You’re still avoiding responsibility and shifting the blame onto the sales staff. Do you have no shame at all???

Let’s count the three-year terms, shall we? How many people have been replaced in seven years—would you like me to help you count? It’s probably 300, if not 400, right?

What employee number are we up to now, in a company with fewer than 20 people?

Now, regarding the products: the raw materials were imported in 2014 and have been stored until now—seven years already. They are re-sterilized and preserved at intervals, and the production year of the raw materials varies from batch to batch. Can this really guarantee quality?

Also, regarding the Labor Standards Act, Zhao Guojun, didn’t you directly say in a management meeting that the company management rules you personally established take priority above all else? To save on severance pay and business travel fuel expenses, you wanted to change everyone to fixed-term contract employees, with conversion to permanent employment only after excellent performance (who would want to work as a contract employee at a company like this and then hope to become permanent staff?). You even threatened to make it impossible for employees who resign to get by in the industry (without considering what kind of influence you actually have over the industry). An employer like you truly deserves to be punished by law.

He’s really good at bragging, so occasionally he manages to trick some very capable people into joining, allowing him to befriend them and build his network. Basically, the more capable someone is, the sooner they see through him and leave the company.

Cons

I noticed that he responded to every post below. In fact, if you look closely, it’s just copy-pasted, with a few changes in the middle to make excuses for himself! It looks very far-fetched!

He says they have lots of money, lots of potential, and lots of vision, but you can tell within just one month of joining that he’s very good at bragging! The money comes from how good he is at tricking shareholders out of their money. I don’t know where all that money has gone, but when employees ask for funding to promote their events, he can’t come up with any! Two hundred million! The potential is all something he claims himself—unrealistic ideas that he gets excited about on his own! Whenever you go into the office, they have meetings where they talk nonsense. He doesn’t even know what he’s talking about! Every meeting ends without any decision; it’s just him getting excited about how amazing he is! He tells people he has lots of meetings, has to travel to many places for business, and has lots of official documents to sign! He’s busy all day long! His life is damn fulfilling!

He likes to drop English phrases and claim he’s Canadian, but he actually came from mainland China!

In short, he makes everything he says below sound as if he’s a conscientious boss? I simply don’t believe it. You’ve all been deceived more than once already—do you really believe all those words he’s typing now?

But you get what you pay for

You don't have to distract yourself wondering how many months of year-end bonus you'll get

Because there isn't one at all

You don't have to worry about whether the boss will honor their promises

Because the boss won't acknowledge anything they said in the first place

This company has recently started recruiting under the name Zhongkang

However, the job requirements should be read carefully

Some matters appear to be skirting the edges of the law

Please do not rush into attending an interview or accepting employment

Kang Sheng Medical is owned by the same person.

Cons

Spoiler—this is a warning to stay away!! Current employees, please avoid reading this to prevent yourself from having thoughts of quitting!

The company environment is pretty ordinary, resembling the decor of a typical traditional manufacturing company. The benefits and conditions are very old-fashioned (nothing more than the usual “weather the difficulties together” and vague promises of a bright future).

Red flag: The manager who interviewed me appeared humble on the surface, but in her words she proudly revealed that she had broken out of decades of being a housewife and transformed into the company’s vice president. However, I felt a chill as I listened and wondered whether there was something wrong with this company. Why would they put someone who had not worked for decades in charge of the company’s most important revenue-generating business division? At that point, I decided that even if I were hired, I would decline the position...

Also, during the interview we discussed some ideas about doing sales. The interviewing manager’s ideas were very difficult to agree with—not merely unrealistic, but also somewhat naively optimistic. I suspect that working under her might not go very smoothly or efficiently.

1. Pretty female employees are given priority in hiring (*゚∀゚*)

As long as you know how to act cute when you mess up 〒.〒 everything can remain calm and peaceful (//●⁰౪⁰●)// Pretty female employees only

Cons

Helpless. ╮(╯_╰)╭

The four traits of the “financial golden boy”—founder, CEO, chairman, and general manager Zhao—_based on a Manager Today article_

1. Believes he is important

Believes he possesses extraordinary knowledge and wisdom, that everyone else should accommodate him, and that they should be responsible for “his” moods and emotions.

2. Believes other people are unimportant

Believes his time is more valuable than other people’s; it is acceptable to make others wait for an appointment, but he cannot accept waiting for others. During meetings, other people’s opinions are unimportant, but he cannot accept being deprived of the right to speak.

3. Has a strong need to prove his presence

In his corporate management, he is the protagonist. To reinforce this fantasy, he has a strong need to prove his presence, likes to force others to listen to his stories and ideals, and hopes his subordinates will cooperate with the performance. If subordinates know how to flatter him, he feels happy and excited, but this also causes his unrealistic ideas to expand and become inflated.

4. Lenient with himself, strict with others

All mistakes are other people’s fault; only he can question people, while others may not question him. He cannot tolerate frustration or criticism directed at him.

The best strategy for becoming a Junsheng employee: Flatterer—remember to flatter him in the right places.

The issues mentioned online were verified after I went there. They hold meaningless meetings, and after the interview, the job duties and compensation did not match the original position advertised. *Suitable for those who enjoy being mistreated at work.

*Can accept arbitrary layoffs or job transfers by the company

*A working life in a workplace where professional expertise is not respected

*Arbitrary reductions in working hours and pay

Cons

Mr. Zhao, the founder of Jyun Sheng, is hot-headed and only knows how to paint grand pictures. He is not sincere in what he says, especially since there is nothing in writing and even less integrity.

All day long, he dreams of making quick money. He focuses on sales performance and only tells salespeople to stuff inventory. He produces false financial reports. The bonus system is changed approximately once every two months, simply because he is afraid that salespeople will receive too much in bonuses.

The biggest deficiency of this company is that Mr. Zhao has no business management ability at all. He refuses to work in a down-to-earth manner and loves to flaunt his wealth.

In the past, the company tried to operate in areas including Korean distribution and agency operations, retail and chain-store channels, blockchain, e-commerce, quasi-direct selling, and overseas sales. Since its establishment in 2014, it has not truly succeeded or made money in any of these areas.

Yet Mr. Zhao is also someone who seeks fame and reputation. He often says that the brand should benefit all living beings, but the products are priced for high-end customers. Salespeople have reported that Jyun Sheng's products are priced too high for the pharmacy market and that ordinary people cannot afford them, but he still refuses to lower the prices.

Mr. Zhao never examines his own high-end pricing strategy (nearly NT$2,000 for 500 ml; nearly NT$10,000 for 1,500 ml).

He only blames salespeople all day for being unable to sell the products. After a period of time, he brings in a group of salespeople to stuff inventory so that he can prepare fake financial reports for shareholders, then lays off that group of salespeople.

Mr. Zhao also frequently makes emotional statements and holds endless cycles of meetings. He may schedule you for meetings all day; afterward, when subordinates say that they are very busy, the boss first reviews the employees' daily work content.

Mr. Zhao likes people who will accompany him in his dreams. He also likes grand displays and especially enjoys taking photos with celebrities to ride their popularity and increase his own exposure. But when it comes to running a business, he understands nothing yet pretends to understand, has no respect for employees' professional expertise, and has no respect for Taiwan's labor laws.

In addition, he loves using stories and an extremely self-righteous attitude to lecture current employees.

When you join the company, you will discover that he is basically a traditional authoritarian boss. After new employees join, one position typically requires them to take on two or three roles, and he may arbitrarily change the content of your job.

Mr. Zhao's rhetorical packaging is to tell you that he wants to challenge your limits. He very typically says one thing and does another, so employee turnover is extremely high.

The company keeps posting several open positions and brings in many people for interviews, but often no one applies, or candidates change their minds after being hired.

I suggest that both graduates and interviewees observe the company's job openings for two or three months first. These positions are perpetually vacant.

I urge everyone to look at what former employees have said about this company online, so that you do not waste your valuable career and life at an unsuitable company.

Not really. Only the veterans who can't find jobs elsewhere would stay here, doing nothing and collecting a paycheck. Even when no year-end bonus was paid, they would complain about why someone else could receive a month's salary while they only got NT$2,000—and then continue staying.

Cons

The capital is 200 million, with only NT$20,000 in cash, and they are scrambling to raise money for salaries every month.

The boss spends all day doing meaningless things and coming up with wildly unrealistic ideas, then expects everyone to work toward this impractical business model without any actual proposal. They also set inexplicable KPIs and review them every week (((with no conclusions))). Then, after the various departments finally cobbled together a rough model, the boss's budget was only NT$10,000–20,000.

They hold pointless meetings all day that reach no conclusions and waste time, share what they learned from attending a multilevel-marketing course, and even imitate leaders of famous companies by writing a letter from the "general manager" to the employees. During the company's early startup phase, they were ostracized by all the employees?? Then they posted a group photo of all the employees who had resigned, including themselves. WTF

The golden quote is: "Believe in it and keep working hard at it." ((You can't even write a proposal, and you have no money—believe in your sister's ass.))

In the end, a company that had been operating for seven years burned through several hundred million, yet had no performance worth mentioning. Pathetic.

Pros

The colleagues are all very united and easy to get along with, and the company's products are effective and distinctive.

Cons

The compensation is absolutely terrible. In my second month at the company, they laid off four sales assistants. By the third week of that month, the original sales assistant had also quit—so why did you hire so many sales assistants in the first place? Then, in the second month, they started putting employees on unpaid leave during the probationary period. After the probationary period ended, the salary was still less than NT$23,000. The company stocked pharmacies all over Taiwan with its products, then laid off all the sales staff nationwide after the products had been distributed. The products were left in pharmacies until they expired, and only then did they hire new sales staff to retrieve them. Then, for no apparent reason, they told you that the company was in a difficult financial situation and required sales staff to take some randomly produced health supplements that were intended to be sold online and negotiate contracts with pharmacies. They kept asking how you felt after signing the contracts. Before the Lunar New Year, they took out all the customer information and kept pressuring newly hired sales staff to negotiate contracts with those stores to raise cash. After squeezing the contract customers dry, the boss even laughed and said, 'Wow, so much money!! This feels great, so great~' The company's registered capital is listed online as two [units of 100 million]. It got so bad that when employees failed to meet their targets, he threatened to sell his NT$30 million house to make up the funding gap. Judging by how incompetent the boss of this company is, he could probably sign up for an intellectually disabled class, couldn't he?

The biggest problem with this company is the boss

The boss will tell you that the company will go public in the future

and that it will also develop blockchain technology and expand into overseas markets

The funniest thing is that the company is constantly losing money

How is it supposed to develop grand plans?

It also says that the company is not making money and therefore does not pay year-end bonuses

It only gives out 200-dollar red envelopes and 600 dollars to employees when they return to work after the holidays

Is this an insult to people?

The colleagues are fairly easy to get along with (but many of them have left....)

Cons

The turnover rate is high. Very few people stay for more than six months, and even fewer stay for a year. Unless you are a close confidant of the boss or have been around in the workplace for more than a decade, it should be very difficult to stay...

Upper management’s decisions change from one day to the next. Even the annual performance targets can be changed over and over again, endlessly.......

The managers actually only have a superficial understanding of many things. They may think that because they have studied something or taken a few classes, they understand it well, but in reality....... And when they encounter problems, they tend to avoid them. They may say a lot to you, but there is actually no substance and they cannot solve the problem.....

All I can say is, if you are really looking for stability or personal growth, I do not recommend going there.
