The HR staff are nice, and you can feel a basic level of respect for job applicants.

As other interview reviews have mentioned, this is a company where the interview managers "really do not value" job applicants.

Because the interview manager has far greater control over the entire interview process than HR, HR is also helpless when it comes to certain "bad" aspects of the interview process.

As a result, although HR respects job applicants, the interview manager ruins the entire interview experience.

1. I already had an offer in hand and hoped the interview manager would respond within a few days. The manager who interviewed me also agreed to do so on the spot. However, there was no word at all several days later, and I had to contact HR to confirm, then have HR confirm with the interview manager. If you never intended to hire me in the first place, please do not agree on the spot to provide a response and waste the applicant's time.

2. If you never intended to hire someone in the first place, please do not use an interview as a pretext and have the applicant come to the company during the pandemic to fill out personality-analysis materials. This shows complete disregard for the interviewee's time and health, solely for the purpose of collecting the interviewee's private information. Even during the conversation, the only concern was whether the information on my résumé was accurate. Who can guarantee that you will not use an applicant's résumé information for something else? The entire interview process really made me feel uncomfortable.

I advise anyone interviewing with this company in the future to be extremely careful with their private information and to pay attention to promises the company casually makes to interviewees.

* The company is located next to an MRT station, so transportation is convenient.

* The company entrance is decorated very flashily.

* The conference room wallpaper is filled with elements of the company mascot. It is somewhat interesting.

* HR remembers to send a thank-you letter.

* After submitting my résumé through 104, I heard nothing. I also received no response when I applied via the company’s own channel, even though it provided that channel. I had to follow up proactively to get a reply, and the entire interview process took around three months.

* Before the interview, I had to spend half an hour completing a personality analysis. The process involved being given a laptop and asked to edit an Excel spreadsheet on it.

* Following on from the above, the laptop also contained the personality analysis results and even the résumés of other applicants. The fact that they could casually lend out a laptop containing other people’s private information gives you a glimpse of the company’s attitude toward applicants’ personal data.

* From the applicant’s perspective, perhaps my answers to the questions were not satisfactory enough. After listening to the answers to one or two questions, the interviewer visibly began to look impatient, and their fidgeting increased. The atmosphere at the interview was not very good.

* I was asked to bring a printed résumé, but it was not used at all.

* “Actually, we weren’t originally going to interview you, but we thought it would be good to invite you over for a chat.” Judging from the interview process and outcome, it only ended up needlessly wasting the applicant’s time and money.

* If you think you are easily affected by the atmosphere at an interview and are not absolutely confident in your abilities, I recommend thinking it over several times before applying.

* The office workstations really are as small as other comments have said.

Before the interview, you have to fill out an annoying standardized résumé and complete a test that takes a long time. On the day itself, you also have to take an aptitude test. I took a look at the office environment: it’s an open-plan space, but everyone’s workstation is very small.

The HR staff were nice.

The hiring manager seemed distracted during the interview, perhaps because they were very busy that day?

All the questions were probing for internal information about the company currently providing the service, which made me feel that they were not really interested in learning more about the candidate.

The technical oral questions ranged from easy to difficult. If the answer was not what the manager wanted or was incorrect, there were no further questions, regardless of whether it was only the first question.

Is this really an appropriate way to assess technical skills? Even experienced experts might answer a simple question poorly or forget the answer.

It is like English vocabulary: I think you might not be able to pronounce or spell a word that seems simple to you, but is it difficult or intermediate for you?

The company proactively invited me to an interview. As a job seeker, I called and also asked about work-related information by replying to the email, and confirmed the interview time.

However, it was only during the interview that I found out the job duties and position were completely different from those stated in the notification.

Beforehand, when the job seeker asked the company about the relevant job information, the company did not disclose at all that the “position for which the interview invitation was extended” was different from the “actual position being offered” (the work content was truly completely different), even though the job seeker had already stated that they were still employed and would need to travel from another county or city to attend the interview.

This is my personal experience. I’m sharing it for everyone’s reference, as an example of a situation in which job seekers are treated disrespectfully and there is a lack of proper procedures.
