-The interview process is extremely outdated. You still have to spend an hour handwriting your résumé, and only HR conducts the interview, covering basic information. Half of the handwritten résumé consists of information that had already been filled out on the basic job-site application, while the other half asks about your physical condition and shift-related matters. No one from upper management conducts an interview at all; they determine whether to hire you solely based on the handwritten résumé. The entire interview process consists of one hour of writing the résumé, HR verbally asking each person about the résumé information for about 2 minutes, HR spending 2X minutes introducing the company policies, and then you leave.
-HR provides an introductory handout when explaining the company policies. There is a QR code on the salary information, but once you enter the company, they require you to cover your camera lens with tape (even though you are clearly not doing anything)...
-The job requires wearing the company uniform throughout the entire shift (you have to wash both the shirt and pants yourself). Men are assigned to etching work (involving contact with hazardous chemicals) and cannot change stations. Salary adjustments are not guaranteed annually (they did not say how much); depending on the company’s mood, there may not be an adjustment this year.
