The colleagues get along well, and the environment is also very good.
The schedule is very flexible. There is no need to clock in. If you need to take time off, you can make up the time afterward. Your salary will not be deducted. This is a place for people who are self-disciplined and able to manage themselves; otherwise, it is difficult to stay.
The previous boss had several million in debts left unpaid by a debtor, so salaries were paid late. However, in the end, they did not owe us any salary.
The working hours are relatively flexible, so you can arrange them yourself.

The job basically covered everything under the sun, from materials for beverage shops and lifestyle-goods shopping websites to items for foundations, images for older adults... everything!
The following is just my personal opinion (my blood-and-sweat experience):
1. Salaries were often paid late, or sometimes only half was paid.
The boss would say it was because cash flow was tight and ask whether you could accept receiving it in two installments... Never agree! Once you agree, your salary will be paid in two installments every time afterward! This is what I heard from an employee who worked at a beverage shop.
2. No labor or health insurance:
During interviews, the boss would say, "We have group insurance. If you need labor and health insurance, we can arrange that too. Everything follows the Labor Standards Act~"
After I took the initiative to ask them to enroll me in labor and health insurance, more than NT$4,000 was deducted from my monthly salary for the premiums. The boss had no intention of paying the portion the company was supposed to cover and made the employees bear all of it (I consulted the Labor Affairs Bureau, which confirmed that this violated the Labor Standards Act). When I argued with him, he would say, "All of this was explained during the interview," and basically just flatly deny any responsibility!
3. Disrespect for professional expertise:
A former coworker and I once made business cards for him. It would have been bad enough if he had simply disliked the design! He actually took the files directly to a printing shop and had someone else modify them. He would also say, "The printing shop finished them in less than a day. Why did you take so long?" My coworker and I were both completely dumbfounded...!
Not to mention that we were also asked to make extremely ugly images for a certain pro-KMT politician. One of my fellow graphic designers quit because of making these images for older adults! Other coworkers were also fired for reasons such as not working fast enough or having a bad attitude.
He would even ask us to steal photos from the internet. When told that they were copyrighted, he would reply, "Really? How come I didn't know?" He was obviously just playing dumb! He would also tell us to download the design software ourselves.
It was only after I resigned that I discovered that more than NT$4,000 had been deducted from my salary in a single month for labor and health insurance premiums. When I called to argue with him, he turned around and berated me, saying that I had not been working during working hours, and threatened to post surveillance-camera footage to an online whistleblowing forum... among other things. Before that, he had already been withholding my salary and those of my former coworkers for more than two months. His entire attitude was so awful that it was unbearable!
My salary was NT$23,000 plus NT$2,000 for perfect attendance, only NT$25,000 in total, but the boss always considered it a very high salary! He liked hiring recent graduates because he knew they lacked experience and did not understand the realities of the job market. He would make them do all sorts of odd jobs unrelated to their work. Once, he even asked one of my fellow graphic designers to package sugar packets XD
The employee turnover was extremely high. In the short three months I worked there, five coworkers came and went. Apart from me, the longest-serving person was fired after less than a month, while the shortest stayed for only three days before quitting! After coworkers resigned, the boss would keep badmouthing them, peppering his comments with profanities, which made people very uncomfortable!
In short, I’m amazed that I managed to hold out that long. My recommendations: 1. If you want to experience a toxic old-school boss; 2. if you want to improve your arguing skills; or 3. if you want to practice being submissive, you can give this place a try!
During the interview, the boss asked me to perform a practical task on a computer, mainly background removal. The background-removal task was not difficult and could be completed quickly.
At the time, while I was removing the background, the boss kept complaining about the previous designer and was extremely disrespectful! As a fellow designer, I felt very uncomfortable!
The main complaint was about how the production speed could be so slow. It was clearly what is commonly called an exploitative boss! I applied for a graphic/visual design position, so ideally the company should have all the necessary design software, but it did not have Adobe Illustrator. When I raised this issue with the boss, it seemed like he wanted me to download it secretly myself!? I ultimately did not join the company—it was too strange!
People who are willing to accept low pay and like making eye-straining “boomer images,” driving trucks to deliver large cargo, handing out flyers, moving extremely heavy goods, campaigning for elections, and whose families have plenty of money to “compensate” the boss—please apply!! This job is absolutely perfect for you!! Do good by eliminating harm!!
Additional conditions: You must like having the boss personally visit your home and family, receive the boss’s late-night messages and calls, and tolerate the boss’s rude harassment.
But this company clearly takes advantage of young people who are entering the workforce for the first time and lack experience, deliberately setting them up and deceiving them!!!! I hope no one else gets victimized!!!!!!!!!
I applied for a graphic design/visual design position. The salary was based on the government-mandated NT$140 rate, and I worked at this company for only 3 days. Don’t doubt your eyes—it was exactly 3 days!!!!!

In addition to visual design, the actual duties included campaigning for elections, making “boomer images,” handing out flyers, moving things (the items were extremely heavy), and, unbelievably, driving a truck to make deliveries!? I really couldn’t stand this exploitative boss who squeezes designers, so I told the boss I wanted to resign. After I submitted my resignation, the boss said they would pay me for the 3 days I worked, but then told me that the truck had broken down and demanded that I compensate them NT$7,000 for repair costs and the company’s operating losses!?
The truck had been perfectly fine before I resigned. During those 3 days, I was asked to drive it for a delivery once, but the key point is that after I returned the truck to the boss, the boss personally drove it as well! Now they claim the truck broke down and want me to pay for the repair costs and the company’s operating losses!?
This is clearly a setup!! The boss also kept threatening to visit my home!! Throughout the incident, they repeatedly harassed me via LINE and phone calls, making it impossible for me to maintain a normal schedule!! Absolutely awful!!
I have already raised this dispute with the relevant authorities!!!!!!!!!!! Design colleagues, please do not be deceived!!!!!!!
