1. The firm has many projects, so everyone has a fairly heavy workload. Each person usually handles several projects at once. Regular overtime until 8 p.m.
2. Overtime pay is not paid according to the Labor Standards Act, but is calculated based on the regular hourly rate. If you apply for it, it will be paid; there are no arbitrary deductions.
3. Administrative procedures are rather cumbersome and take up quite a lot of actual working time. Simplifying the processes or adding administrative support should help improve the overtime situation.
The boss/architect is a nice person, but there are many issues with the accounting. Employee salaries are paid irregularly, and obtaining a payslip or proof of salary requires making an appointment in advance. The accountant has too much control; things might improve if the accountant were replaced or the work were handed over to a professional accounting firm.
