Working in an office with decent decor and a fairly good night view—but surely no one wants to stay late at the office just to look at the night view, right?
The chairman and general manager likes to ask employees to drive him around, for both business and personal matters (not necessarily in a company car; quite often it’s the employee’s own car).
He likes to put on a show and make a big display, sleeps at the company during the day, and sends LINE messages nonstop at night, treating the company like his own home.
Note: The largest shareholder doesn’t seem to be the chairman.
Meetings often involve rambling about pointless topics and the conglomerate of his dreams, but nothing gets implemented afterward. This company is merely one corner of the group, which also has a management consulting firm. When he’s in a bad mood, he picks on minor issues and calls employees in to berate them.
The colleagues at the time were all very nice, but they have since left.
So I guess the advantage is that there is a lot of personal space.
The company’s internal situation seems to be not very good (among senior management).
You can feel the overt and covert power struggles among the people at the top while at work.
It is very stressful at work.
