A foreign-invested company. The boss is from mainland China and has been a long-term immigrant to Germany. He speaks with an arrogant, condescending attitude, as if looking down his nose, and has an egotistical, conceited mindset.
The compensation is really poor, and there are no benefits at all; everything follows the requirements of the Labor Standards Act. Working hours are 8:30–17:30, with a lunch break from 12:30–13:30. The boss comes to Taiwan once a month for an inspection, while that extremely unreasonable boss keeps emphasizing that employees must arrange their own work properly—from placing orders, following up on delivery schedules, arranging freight companies, and handling customs declarations, to following up on sales quotations, obtaining signed quotation/order confirmations, and collecting accounts receivable, among other things. I really want to say: How old are you? You still don’t know how to prioritize tasks, yet you keep sarcastically implying that my work schedule must have been arranged by someone else.
Friends who are interested in this company, please think twice. This company offers no benefits whatsoever and does not provide bonuses for the three major traditional holidays or year-end bonuses. The only bonus is a profit-sharing bonus based on the net profit from accounts collected each month. It is unclear how much the sales staff receive; all internal staff share 1%.
