Each hurdle is difficult, but each can be overcome (you may think that passing the first chapter means you are finished, only to find there is a second and third hurdle… The financial product knowledge is taught very thoroughly, and you also have to learn sales techniques. It only gets more difficult—there is no highest level)
6. Inconvenient for those who commute by motorcycle or car (traffic is prone to congestion after work, and parking nearby is difficult to find)
7. It is difficult to lose weight while working here (colleagues order drinks every day; to avoid drinking, you would have to be able to turn a blind eye and deaf ear XD)
8. Not suitable for people with low intelligence who are unwilling to make an effort (though I am actually not very intelligent, I study very hard)
9. Your peers basically will not understand what you have learned here (even people who have worked in banks may not necessarily know about leveraged products)
10. Much like the previous point, it is a job that is difficult for people around you to recognize, since not many people in Taiwan work in the foreign exchange market

Pros
First of all, this company’s salary is not low.... The reviews I’ve seen are mostly from people who haven’t joined the company yet and have only looked at the base salary.
The base salary is really ordinary~ but the bonuses beat those of many Taiwanese companies by a mile, and there is absolutely no culture of working overtime (although some departments may have it when they are exceptionally busy). Basically, the bonuses are high, but as for skills.... you don’t have to be very capable to earn more than the “average salary in Taiwan” that everyone complains about in the news, and then a little more on top of that. Of course, there are both good and bad aspects internally, but when it comes to money.... it’s genuinely very good. The other concerns people have are still mostly about the gray areas. People say that salaries at some gambling websites in Taiwan are quite good, and that’s true. But this company’s salaries are not lower than those websites.... Many of my former colleagues who left, or who previously worked for gambling website companies, compare and discuss salary and benefits.
I’ve been working here for two years. I’m still working here now.... I should be able to give a more practical perspective than the previous reviews.
As for legality, all I can say is that Taiwan’s written laws do not allow this type of business. However, this company does not develop Taiwanese customers, so there are no legal concerns. (Previously, 外青匯年軍 went to find Taiwanese people to invest, so the government went after them.)
So, is it allowed in mainland China? The mainland Chinese government basically does not intervene. It simply does not recommend that citizens do it; if you do and something happens, that’s your own responsibility. But it is not explicitly prohibited, and there are very, very many companies of this type in mainland China. That’s about it. If you’re considering joining, the salary and relationships with colleagues are quite good. As for whether the financial side is legitimate, that depends on how you see it. Make your own choice!
