Received the employment notification only the day before, then the next day, when I inquired because I had not received the hiring notification,
I instead received a thank-you letter.
It turns out this is how the HR department
of this company handles things.
Constantly changing decisions; it is clear that the same approach will be taken with everything in the future.
I feel quite fortunate, as if heaven were protecting me.
Dodged a bullet
The colleagues are quite easy to get along with. A small hotel.
1. I don't know how it obtained a five-star rating. The hotel's back-of-house facilities are quite run-down, and the staff cafeteria is dilapidated; even pigs would cry upon seeing the food.
2. Due to the impact of the pneumonia outbreak, the company laid off employees without any warning, making excuses that their work had not met standards in order to dismiss them.
3. For longer-serving employees, it used disciplinary demerits to force them out, unwilling to pay severance.

They said there would be a second interview, but there has been no news for a long time. Even when I asked, my message was read but left unanswered…
