The boss's planning and timelines are completely impossible to keep up with; the assigned work is never-ending, and there are also endless meetings on Wednesdays
The colleagues are nice.
The boss doesn’t come into the office until around 4 or 5 p.m. every day, then starts holding meetings at 5 or 6 p.m. that last until 8, 9, or even 10 p.m., with no overtime pay.
The boss does not accept any response of “no.” Even when everyone says the workload is too heavy and that it really cannot all be completed even with overtime, she just coldly says that it is your problem.
The division of responsibilities is chaotic. The boss likes to have many people work on the same thing. For example, whether you work in marketing or administration, you are also expected to manage the company’s Facebook page, handle purchasing, and arrange shipments. As a result, everyone has a pile of miscellaneous tasks, yet the boss still thinks that nobody is working hard enough.
Also, the boss blames the high turnover rate on bad feng shui. LOL!
