I came for an interview, and I can't ride a bike (my main means of transportation are public transit, and, when necessary, borrowing a car from my family to drive, but I didn't mention that). However, I heard the female owner go on about this (perhaps metaphorically): She had previously employed someone who couldn't ride a bike, and because they couldn't ride a bike, their ability to react was very poor and their work efficiency was low. Then she started going on endlessly about various things, repeatedly explaining her position.

I completely don't understand the connection between these things. Is there any scientific basis for this? Or is it just a “Hello?”

1. Several netizens have posted comments online concerning the employment conditions at Cheng Da Liberal Arts and Science Cram School and the attitudes of its staff. However, most of these comments are unfounded rumors. After learning of this, Mr. Yang Sheng-Jie, the person in charge of Cheng Da Liberal Arts and Science Cram School, submitted the relevant evidence on October 1, 2018 (ROC Year 107) and filed a criminal complaint for defamation with the Investigation Team of the Fongshan Precinct, Kaohsiung City Government Police Department.

2. The police are currently actively investigating this case. However, under the principle that investigations are not made public, some uninformed netizens continue to post false comments online. They may not realize that such conduct constitutes criminal defamation and civil liability for damages. Netizens who intend to post comments in the future are therefore urged to think carefully before posting, so as to avoid violating criminal law and incurring liability for compensation.

3. Although Mr. Yang Sheng-Jie, the person in charge of Cheng Da Liberal Arts and Science Cram School, has filed a complaint with the police, he still urges netizens to delete the false comments, as doing so may reduce or eliminate their civil and criminal liability.

There was air conditioning.

The manager gathered applicants for different positions at the counter and scheduled the interviews for 4:00, but the manager did not show up until 4:30.

After showing up, the manager only asked: “Is an hourly wage of xx acceptable? Which days can you work? We’ll contact you by phone about the rest.” It was called an “interview,” but the actual conversation lasted only five minutes.

We sat in a row with people applying for other positions, and each person spoke with the manager for only five minutes.

It makes me wonder why they called it an “interview.” They could have just discussed it over the phone.
