Pros

There are still some advantages, to be fair.

Cons

This company has around 50 employees.

As for my actual work experience... I felt that the internal atmosphere was very strange.

1. They would come out of nowhere and tell you that you need to keep your distance from women... They were only one step away from falsely accusing you of sexual harassment.

I had clearly done nothing—it's ridiculous. There are surveillance cameras throughout the office. You have no way to prove your innocence, and they can only make private complaints behind your back? Absolutely awful.

If you are so concerned about gender issues, I suggest that your company only hire women in the future so there will be no concerns.

I have never seen anyone so good at imagining things. Are we supposed to dodge women from a distance as if they were ghosts from now on? Before accusing others of sexual harassment, perhaps consider that you are nearly forty and not exactly supermodels.

Sexual harassment????? I’m completely baffled. If you blame me for criticizing your appearance, remember that you were the ones who falsely accused me first, OK?

2. If your company thinks that a business-trip reimbursement issue can be blown out of proportion, spreading from person to person until it becomes widely discussed, even though it was clearly just a minor matter—and can be repeatedly brought up and highlighted to humiliate someone—I suggest you close down your company; no wonder you have trouble finding employees.

You know yourselves that it is hard to find employees, yet you still like to play these petty games?

3. There is no overtime pay; you can only apply for compensatory leave, and you also have to report it to and obtain approval from your supervisor in advance.

This means the company saves on overtime costs, while making approval difficult >>> effectively a wage deduction.

Other companies let you claim overtime even when you are assigned to work on public holidays, but yours is the most stingy. Even more absurdly, you still have to be on call. Fuck you.

4. One morning, at around ten o’clock, my supervisor suddenly came over and asked whether I had any problems. I politely asked about issues I had encountered at work, and the supervisor immediately snapped: “Don’t you know that we all have to go out in the morning? At our company, we need to take care of ourselves; it’s not someone else’s job to take care of you...”

Ridiculous—what a completely baffling response. How does asking a question amount to asking someone else to take care of me? How did you arrive at that conclusion? Or were you simply looking for an excuse to berate me? This is the first time I have encountered someone with such an enormous imagination, inventing all kinds of elaborate scenarios.

Sexual harassment / needing to be taken care of—these are both things I had never been accused of before in my life. Is there something wrong with your thinking, or is the problem with the new employee?

Fine, you definitely will not admit that you were wrong; it must always be the new employee’s fault.

Anyone who does not meet your expectations is the problem.

Everything stated above is factual. If any of it is untrue, may heaven punish me. Your company can take your time finding people.

Whether the people you find will immediately leave again is another question.
