The HR person looked really stern and only handed out silent cards

When asked HR questions during the interview, they didn't know the answers to any of them.
I was verbally offered the position by the supervisor, but was ultimately ghosted and received a rejection email.
Poor benefits, located in a remote area

The job posting had been up on the job bank for a long time, so I thought I’d submit my résumé and give it a try, and I got an interview opportunity. The position was for a server EE. The manager is very picky and expects someone who can work independently, but the pay is low and the benefits are poor. After the interview, I understood why they can’t find anyone: they can only afford to give bananas, so they can only attract monkeys—and even the monkeys are complaining. I guess they’ll just have to keep looking slowly.
Nothing particularly special.
Before the interview, you need to fill out 7–8 pages of information, including details about your former company’s salary structure and your department’s personnel structure... Isn’t that personal privacy?
Even HR hasn’t explained the company’s salary structure, yet they want the interviewee to provide information about their company’s first?
Additionally, you are asked to check whether you agree that, after being hired, you will consent without objection if your position, department, or shift is changed.
