They asked me to come for an interview, only to tell me that the position was already filled and that they would notify me if there were any openings. The interview ended after just three minutes—it was truly speechless.

A mechanical engineering background is directly categorized as mechanical assembly at this company, and HR does not look at applicants’ résumés at all. When applying for an electrical controls position, aside from asking whether I was familiar with editing software and whether I could do wiring, they did not ask about any other professional qualifications. They did not even mention which brand of controller the company uses. Where is the professionalism???
After I proactively told them that I do not like working overtime over the long term, HR stopped talking. The entire interview lasted less than five minutes.
